FastZZ is made by someget. Your voice and words belong to you. Recognition and translation run entirely on your Mac.
What we collect
Nothing. FastZZ does not collect or upload any personal data or recordings. It includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Microphone access
The microphone is used only when you click Record. Audio is processed only in memory and is never uploaded.
Where your data lives
Transcripts stay inside the app. They leave the app only when you choose to copy or export them. Recognition and translation are processed on-device.
Model downloads
Network access is used only when you choose to download models from their public release locations. No personal information is attached. Once downloaded, recognition and translation require no connection.
Children's privacy
FastZZ is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
